Using Solidworks, working with bodies of this type makes it seem that the file size is doing quite well for now until the point at which file sizes become an issue anyway. To proceed with what needs to be done next after that, right-clicking on each body individually, selecting 'Insert Into New Part' will do just fine then. With those parts created and open in their respective views afterwards, accessing any part via 'Feature' menu within said view while still selected itself and clicking right again now brings up an option titled 'Edit In Context.' Select that option. Proceeding by locking everything inside the very active and ongoing 'Lock All Menu,' doing so will give it a nice new appearance just the way I'd imagine someone working on such things to have preferred to keep everything sorted this particular way from the start, that is until needing to actually create connections for use with external data and source materials in later work sessions when these actions will be reversed, freeing parts up again within all newly locked menu structures where each file will always still reside afterwards just like one would logically need access again if there wasn't also an added convenience found inside 'SolidWorks.'
