Telescope Focuser Mount

I'm redesigning my homemade scope's focuser, and it's a major upgrade. The original focuser was held in place with screws at a 30-degree angle from the optical axis - not ideal. The holes in the tube were rough, and the screws were barely holding on. The focuser itself was loose and wobbly. This new backer and filler provide a large surface area that adapts to the tube's shape and a flat surface for the nuts. The focuser is now rock-solid. Here are the details: * Tube outside radius: 104.4mm * Tube inside radius: 100.6mm * Radial separation of screws on the tube's surface: 45mm * Axial separation of the screws: 31mm * Focuser tube OD: 42mm Keep in mind that your scope tube and focuser may not match mine exactly, so use this as inspiration rather than a practical guide. As a bonus, I've included a file for printing a rim to cover the edges of the tube. Print four times for the front and back sides. UPDATE (07/10/2018): I've added parts for a Meade 8" reflector: * Tube outside radius: 121.44mm * Tube inside radius: 114.84mm * Radial separation of screws on the tube's surface: 69mm * Axial separation of the screws: 40mm * Focuser tube OD: 42mm
