Telescope filter (1.25") to 52mm filter ring adapter
thingiverse
This is a converter, made as an alternative to using a clip in filter (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3695976), which I created for H-alpha and other narrowband filters. To attach it on the other end. It's not threaded, so I mounted a 52mm filter that had broken into it. If you carefully screw a filter in the first time, it will act as its own tap, and subsequent filters will screw in easily. It works with my 55-200, a 50mm, and a 28mm lenses, all used on an astro-modified/full spectrum D5300 camera. Note that some lenses like the 50mm won't reach focus with longer wavelength reds like H-alpha, but can work with shorter ones like OIII. It's an older version, so newer ones may work better, but the 55-200 has some issues using it as well (being slightly outside human visible range, Halpha likely wasn't a priority). The images were taken with a 55-200mm at f/4 and a 28mm f/2.8 on a tracking OnStep mount, stacked with Siril and adjusted via Gimp before exporting as jpeg. You can use this item to do the same thing: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1033336. As these images reduce the aperture, they're likely more like f/8 and f/6, but that's the camera setting.
