28mm scale model for war gaming. (1/56 scale, heroic scale) Rebuilt my original telescope with a more substantial tripod, larger features that perfectly suit heroic scale, and cleverly built the joint into the telescope itself. The telescope joint has two holes, allowing it to be mounted on the tripod at 0 degrees parallel to the deck, or at 30 degrees up. One of the telescopes measures exactly 10mm in length. The other telescope stands tall at an impressive 16mm long. The tripod is a sturdy piece, standing just over 12mm tall, with legs that are a solid 12mm in diameter. My telescope should be small enough to fit snugly on a 25mm base alongside one hero.
