Telescope/camera solar filter cap

This project will create a custom cap for your telescope or camera that can be fitted with a solar filter sheet tailored to its specific dimensions. The files are OpenScad editable files, allowing you to easily modify them according to your needs. To get started, simply measure the outside diameter of your telescope tube or camera objective in millimeters and insert this value into the OpenScad code at the top as indicated. Then, export the design to STL format for printing. If your printer bed is too small to accommodate the entire print, you can also use a quarter section with a tongue and groove design that I've included - just print it four times and glue the sections together. The solar filter sheets needed to complete this project are readily available on Amazon and other retailers at an affordable price.
