Telescope camera adaptors

Last year, my fantastic wife got me a Celestron Nexstar 130 SLT telescope for Christmas, and now I can clearly see Jupiter's moons without even using a 2x Barlow lens. It's incredible! I designed two adapters for our Panasonic Lumix G2 camera so that we could experiment with astrophotography. The shorter adapter is black and thick, allowing us to mount the camera directly onto the telescope, while the longer one is blue and can be used in conjunction with a Barlow lens. It fits perfectly into the barrel. I believe these adapters will work with many other telescopes as well, including the Lumix G1, G2, G3, GH1, GH2, GF1, GF2, and GF3 cameras. If you try them out, please let me know how it goes. The adapters are incredibly strong and can easily support the weight of the camera, printed in PLA on my Ultimaker 2 at normal quality settings. The little hole on top ensures that the security pin clicks into place, locking the adapter safely onto your camera, so it won't slip off. If you don't hear a click when rotating the adapter, you might need to remove a tiny bit of excess PLA from the inner sides of the pin hole. The indent on the outside of the adapters is just a visual aid to help line up the adapter with the red dot on your camera when attaching it. To make the camera work without complaining about not having a lens, simply turn off the red/blue lit iA button and set the camera to manual or any non-automatic mode. Then, go into the menu and find the option to Shoot without lens at page 7. Turn that option on, and you're ready to shoot. As I'm still learning the ropes of astronomical photography, my attached photos are blurry due to lack of tracking, cloudy conditions, and incorrect settings. However, they do give an idea of the achievable resolution, so take a look!
