Telepherical HO Motorized HO HO for Rail Modeling
cults3d
This cable car is inspired by the Moléson cable car in Switzerland, with its own unique adaptation. Construction of the model will unfold in three distinct phases: the top station, the departure station, and the cabin(s). Thirty-five rooms are allocated for the top building, while thirty-nine rooms are designated for the downstream building, with ten rooms assigned to the cabin. This totals eighty-four printable rooms. The roller trains within the cabins feature 5mm diameter brass grooved pulleys. A standard Gear-Box S30K 12 serves as the traction motor, available on Ebay for between four and five euros. Assembly instructions and nomenclature can be found in a comprehensive 29-page PDF, complete with photos and supplier information. Good construction is key to bringing this project to life. Both buildings' roofs are designed to be removable, providing easy access to the motorization and limit switch located on each building's right shoe. Automation options include using an Arduino or PLC, or even manual control via a simple switch.
