The fragile C8 connector in this compact radio is prone to breaking off with minimal effort. Unable to source a replacement part, I designed this 3D model as a solution. After printing, carefully remove the underlying plastic support structure below the center post and securely screw the part into place. This will effectively hold the old broken C8 socket firmly in position. If the screw becomes too tight, release it slightly to prevent excessive tension on the delicate plastic chassis. Taking this precaution will help avoid a potentially catastrophic failure of the entire unit.
