Telecaster style switchplate only
thingiverse
I whipped up a makeshift travel guitar out of an old clunker in no time. Needed a switch cover for the 3-way switch, so I fired up my 3D printer and cranked out one in ABS - it works like a charm. My router bit just wouldn't cut deep enough, so I designed a spacer that matches its shape and saved the day. This hack still needs some fine-tuning, but it served its purpose for this quick DIY project. That's my old GIO, modified to play left-handed, by the way - surprisingly, it plays decently well and hooks up easily via iRIG style setup, making it a breeze to tote around. And don't worry, I'm no virtuoso either. I've also been working on a neck strap adapter and snagged a Jack plate from this website.
