The Telchak Device originates from the technology left behind by the Ancients and was actually named after Goa'uld warrior Telchak, who exploited its design to craft the very first sarcophagus ever known. Initially, this revolutionary tech worked as a remarkable healing tool for the Ancient civilization but showed an incredibly destructive side if humans got too close or stayed in its presence for a time that was way too long - with disastrous results on the human body and even their minds! Once the energy of the Telchak Device enveloped human dead tissue, something unbelievable would occur: reanimation - effectively transforming deceased humans into mindless undead monsters or, simply put, zombies. Interestingly enough, the formidable System Lord Anubis leveraged technology very much like this to awaken his notorious Kull Warriors, whose presence sent fear throughout galaxies far and wide.
