Tektronix 465 front cover
thingiverse
Hello, this is a front cover designed for the Tektronix 465 but probably fits the 465B (but not the M) or other Tektronix scopes. It fits very well and won't fall off because of the clips holding it in place. Print it with at least 2-3 walls so the scope can rest on the cover if you wish to disassemble it. There's an original file and a v2. I'd recommend the v2 files. Only downside is that the moving handle cannot move freely over the v1 cover, the v2 is sightly shorter so it should move freely. Depending on your printer (settings) it takes around 16-18 hrs to print all parts and approx. 200g PLA. There are four files available. If you have a 200x200 mm (20x20 cm) print bed you have to print two non-*whole* versions and glue them together. There are some 1 and 3 mm holes to glue rods in it for easy alignment and structural stability. For the 3mm holes use a threaded rod M3 and for the 1mm use a paperclip. The assembly is a bit complicated. Heat up the M3 rod a bit and jam it in the holes so it'll widen a bit, then glue it shut. The v2 has 3,2 mm holes to make it easier. The holes are 100 mm deep. There are versions with the writing '465' and without available to print. You have a print bed approximately or larger than 300x300 you're a lucky bastard. Just print the 'whole' files so you don't have to glue anything. Message me for requests if you need different dimensions or just the dimensions themselves. I'd be happy to help out.
