This is a replacement foot for a Tektronix 2402 or 2402A, specifically designed to be mounted on the back of the unit. It also serves as a holder for the power cord when the equipment is not in use, allowing it to be easily stored and kept organized. The unique design of this foot enables the unit to be positioned standing vertically with ease. This feature is especially useful in settings where space is limited or where the unit needs to be placed in a specific orientation. To ensure a secure fit, a small cone is integrated into the design. This cone fits perfectly inside the cylindrical hole, creating a flat surface for the mounting screw at the bottom of the hole. By doing so, it eliminates the need for a flat bottom on the hole itself, which can be difficult to print and may compromise the structural integrity of the part. A conical recess in the hole is all that's needed, making it easy to produce without any issues. Once printed, a conical filler can be used under the screw head, providing additional support and stability. If the cone doesn't fit down the hole with ease, try printing it at a 99% scale factor or slightly less. This adjustment should ensure a smooth and hassle-free installation process.
