I might be taking this a bit too far. Went out today putting PLA to the test and I have to say it held up amazingly well! When I got home I finished printing Armadillo version and let me tell you that it looks incredibly robust, totally overboard. No need for such excess :). Both versions require no holes for the shock screw so you'll need to drill them yourself using a 4mm drill bit. The design is also simplified for easy printing. You can print it in whatever material you want (PLA, ABS, Nylon, TPU, etc.) and I recommend using 100% infill (mostly because of the drill holes thing). Please let me know how it turns out if you decide to give it a try.
