Teknatool Nova DVR XP mounting bracket for Nova Galaxi DVR panel

This bracket enables you to attach a Teknatool Nova Galaxi DVR 1644 control panel onto an older Teknatool Nova DVR XP wood turning lathe.\r\n\r\nI had to order this bracket because my supplier sent me the wrong Control Panel (SKU 55523) when I ordered the upgrade kit for the DVR XP. It soon became apparent that the Galaxi DVR panel also works with the spindle head unit of the older DVR XP.\r\n\r\nSince the Galaxi panel has an emergency stop button and a larger display than the DVR XP panel, I decided to use it. However, the panel mounts differently and the contacts and cables for the emergency stop button stick out and have nowhere to go on the DVR XP. Therefore, this extremely simple and straightforward bracket is designed to raise the panel and fit onto the DVR metal mounting plate.\r\n\r\nThe bracket attaches to the old plate with 4 M3 screws and nuts (and I left a fair amount of wiggle room between the two for easier fitting). And 3 of the 4 original plate metal screws secure the new panel to the bracket.\r\n\r\nDisclaimer: I have no official confirmation from Teknatool that this combination of parts is acceptable. But based on everything I see, it works (see also pictures). All the motor parameters match up with the old panel too i.e. Kprop, Kint, V Kprop, V Kint, Vd DC Bus ...
