TEKK TERMINATOR I TS-200 18650 BATTERY INSERT
thingiverse
I had a couple Tekk Terminator TS-200 radios collecting dust. Both batteries were dead, and I wanted a way to power them with 18650 cells instead of the old NiMh packs that are almost impossible to find now, so I came up with this insert. You'll need to cut a piece of perfboard to fit the bottom, and find some springs to solder to it and connect together. I used some springs designed for flashlights I had on hand. I'm not sure what would happen if you used the Tekk charger on these cells... I strongly advise against trying it, as they are a different chemistry altogether. I'll be charging my cells outside the radio on a standalone charger. The radio operates perfectly with the new power source. I have my doubts if anyone will ever use this file, as these radios are somewhat rare and hard to come by. Let me know if you do!
