Tekhenu - Board Game Insert

Tekhenu Full Game Insert I love the game Tekhenu. I was going to use the insert created by enjayem but there were couple of ideas I wanted to integrate with his already awesome design pieces. I kept the player part boxes and the Obelisk tray from enjayem’s design. I have included those files to make downloading simpler but they are not my designs. If you want to check out enjayem’s original Tekhenu insert design you can check it out here. Tekhenu Game Organizer (Sleeved Cards, Vertical Storage) by enjayem - Thingiverse IMPORTANT There are two ways you can print this so please review; 1) I designed a game piece to replace the obelisk for this game. This insert will hold the original obelisk as well the smaller revamped Obelisk replacement I created. IF you want to use my Obelisk replacement then you should print the following files; a) ‘Tekhenu - Obelisk Replacement Tray’ b) ‘Tekhenu - Starting Cards Sleeve You will also need to print the Obelisk replacement part using the following .stl files; c) ‘Tekhenu - Obelisk Replacement Bottom’ d) ‘Tekhenu - Obelisk Replacement Top’ Files C & D will need to be glued together. I used JB Weld, but I am sure you can use Super Glue or whatever compound you are used to using. 2) If you don’t want to use my Obelisk replacement part then you should just print an extra Top card tray, file name ‘Tekhenu - Card Trays Top’ and ignore the parts mentioned in option 1. I will make a summary print list below for both insert options/versions This insert is designed to store your games flat & vertically and has withstood the shake test Card trays are all designed to fit Fantasy Flight Supply (FFS) sleeves and which are the most oversized and thickest sleeves (100 microns) that I am aware of. Hence, they should fit almost any sleeve. As a side note, FFS doesn’t make sleeves anymore. You will also note that the card trays have an additional slot in them, these are intended to be for discards. The main board in this game is large so I wanted to spread out the resource pieces and that is why I built 2 resource trays. Each resource tray holds exactly half the number of resources where possible. WHAT TO PRINT If printing to accommodate the Obelisk Replacement piece I created then print the following files; a) 4 x ‘Tekhenu - Player Parts Tray x 4’ -- design by user enjayem b) 2 x ‘Tekhenu - Resource Tray x 2’ c) 2 x ‘Tekhenu - Card Tray Bottom x 2’ d) 1 x ‘Tekhenu - Obelisk Replacement Tray’ e) 1 x ‘Tekhenu - Starting Cards Sleeve f) 1 x ‘Tekhenu - Obelisk Replacement Bottom’ g) 1 x ‘Tekhenu - Obelisk Replacement Top’ h) 1 x ‘Tekhenu - Card Trays Top’ i) 1 x ‘Tekhenu - Dice Tray’ j) 1 x ‘Tekhenu - Original Obelisk Tray’ - design by user enjayem k) 1 x ‘Tekhenu - Pillar Tiles + Solo Tiles Tray’ If printing to accommodate using the provided Obelisk Replacement piece then print the following files; a) 4 x ‘Tekhenu – Player Parts Tray x 4’ -- design by user enjayem b) 2 x ‘Tekhenu - Resource Tray x 2’ c) 2 x ‘Tekhenu - Card Tray Bottom x 2’ d) 2 x ‘Tekhenu - Card Trays Top’ e) 1 x ‘Tekhenu - Obelisk Replacement Tray’ f) 1 x ‘Tekhenu - Starting Cards Sleeve g) 1 x ‘Tekhenu - Obelisk Replacement Bottom’ h) 1 x ‘Tekhenu - Obelisk Replacement Top’ i) 1 x ‘Tekhenu - Dice Tray’ j) 1 x ‘Tekhenu - Original Obelisk Tray’ - design by user enjayem k) 1 x ‘Tekhenu - Pillar Tiles + Solo Tiles Tray’ Some notes I recommend printing the following parts/files at Standard or better print quality; ‘Tekhenu – Player Parts Tray x 4’ ‘Tekhenu - Card Trays Top’ ‘Tekhenu - Card Tray Bottom x 2’ ‘Tekhenu - Obelisk Replacement Tray’ - The card tray and or Obelisk Replacement tray, snap together. If the fit is too tight then you may want to use sandpaper on the parts that join together. Printing at a higher print quality will help. - The lids for the player parts tray can be a tight fit so take your time when first sliding the lid into place. I will do my best to answer questions. Hope you enjoy this insert.
