Yesterday my hexacopter's Thunder S550 chassis crash-landed, causing significant damage to the landing gear in the impact. After researching online, I discovered that the broken part likely originated from China and would take approximately a month to arrive. In a bid to find an alternative solution, I scoured Thingiverse but couldn't find a similar design. Undeterred, I turned to Autocad and, after investing an hour of work, came up with this custom creation. This 3D printed part is designed to be compatible with standard printing tolerances. To ensure a snug fit for the carbon fiber tubes, simply scale the design by 1.05%. If you're in need of a replacement landing gear, feel free to use this custom design - just remember to adjust the print settings accordingly to achieve optimal results.
