TEDxYouth@Flanders Project Shellter Workshop Sketches
thingiverse
On November 20th, 2101, we hosted a workshop where 30 children explored 3D printing. They designed shells for hermit crabs, and we sought help from the Thingiverse community to convert these sketches into printable 3D models. Once completed, these models will be placed in the East and West coast Project Shellter aquariums, bringing the kids' imagination to life for the benefit of the hermit crabs. Some creative ideas included a plant-pot shaped shell that could grow seaweed for camouflage, and a coral reef shaped shell for added disguise.
