Teddy Bear from Capsule

Teddy Bear from Capsule

thingiverse

This is a remix of the Teddy Bear Capsule (Screw-On Lid). My daughter wanted a little bear to print on our Fabrikator Mini, and she picked this one from several different Thingiverse options. She wanted it whole, not as a capsule. I used Simplify3D to separate connected surfaces into different STL files and then Tinkercad to move pieces around and rebuild the bear. Note that eyes and tail may be in a slightly different place, and I cut off the bottom by a few millimeters to make it more flat and even for a cleaner print start. I used "Merge all outlines into a single solid model" within Simplify3D when setting this up to print since it still has internal holes and threads from the original capsule. We printed the bear at 41% to get the small size she was interested in. The original post indicated that supports were not needed, but we found with the Fabrikator Mini there was enough drooping that we decided to add supports. Update: The Fabrikator Mini broke. We now print these on a Monoprice Select Mini. Also see my Teddy Bear for Magnet remix of this bear. More of my models can be found on Cults at https://cults3d.com/en/users/abbymath.
