Teddy Bear
thingiverse
A mini teddy bear model crafted by one of my pupils as part of our high school geometry course. Utilizing openSCAD and MakerBot, we taught z-axis concepts, code learning, and reviewed intersection, union, and rigid transformations. Students were given two weeks to create their object after a 2-class period introduction to openSCAD. The print came out well despite needing a raft and exterior support, with a small issue of the bear's hand accessory being too thin to print.
