Techzone Huxley LM6UU X-Carriage
thingiverse
This revamped X-carriage replaces the initial Techzone Huxley's single bronze bushing with three LM6UU linear bearings to prevent stickiness. It also features attachment holes for a better hotend, using PEKK insulating blocks. Essential components include the printed X-carriage (this file), 3 LM6UU bearings, and two 6mm rods (replacing non-metric originals). The design is based on Prusa Mendel's X-carriage by Josef Proša. Users must also update the carriage with ziptie holes for linear bearing security. Installation involves printing, fitting belt-attaching bolts under LM6UUs, snapping bearings in place (securing if needed), dismantling the X axis, and remounting it with this new carriage and 6mm rods. An update includes ziptie holes for better linear bearing retention.
