Technics SL-5300 hinge bracket

This is a custom-made bracket to replace the dustcover hinge on a Technics SL-5300 turntable. The design, also used by Technics in many other turntables, has shown itself to be prone to failure over the years, with numerous units suffering from this weak point. Since replacement parts are extremely hard to find, I created this repair part as a solution. To install it, you'll need to remove any remaining fragments of the old bracket, create a notch for the new one and drill holes for the screws - I used 4mm screws in my prototype. The part was printed in black ABS plastic and seems surprisingly robust.
