Technics SL-1200/1210 RCA socket and power connector mounts

One thing that has always irritated me about my Technics 1200s is the hard-wired cables. This mod adds sockets for the power inlet and RCA phono outputs. The ground wire output is via a 2mm banana plug socket.Printed in PLA, 0.2mm layer height.Required components:IEC C8 panel connectorRCA panel sockets (to fit an 8mm hole)2mm banana plug panel socket2x M3 nuts and bolts (around 10mm)Some thin wire (ideally red, white, green, blue, black) Screwing the nuts on the back of the panel sockets can be a little tricky, but it is possible with some patience.A reasonable level of soldering and electrical competence is required. Testing with a multi-meter is recommended before you screw it all back together. With a cartridge on the tone-arm, you should see a resistance of ~600 ohms between the RCA centre and outer. You should also verify that the ground socket is connected with the chassis of the turntable (try continuity testing with an exposed screw or the tone-arm itself).I recommend soldering coloured wires to the RCA and ground sockets like this:RCA right centre: redRCA right outer: greenRCA left centre: whiteRCA left centre: blueGround: blackThat way, you can simply match up the colours with those coming from the tone arm.
