I've decided it's time to replace my 30mm fan mount because the current one broke down. To be honest, I think it would be a great idea to design a new one that integrates seamlessly with the carriage clamp. It's nothing overly complicated, but do keep in mind that using excessively long bolts may cause them to collide with the hot end. The 40mm version requires only two M4 bolts due to space constraints and my desire to maintain compactness. I've included the SLDprt file for anyone who wants to make any necessary adjustments or modifications. **UPDATE 22/08/17:** I've just added the 40mm version. Go ahead, give it a try!
