TEBM65C20F Bass Reflex Enclosure

TEBM65C20F Bass Reflex Enclosure

thingiverse

An enclosure for the Tectonics TEBM65C20F drivers with interchangeable bass tubes. Longer tubes produce a deeper bass response with less power and a less even signature. Prints without supports (though the bass tubes can benefit from some to get a smooth print on the flare) but should be printed with 4-5 perimeters and a 10% infill (I recommend gyroid) to reduce resonance of the enclosure. Should use just under 900g of filament per enclosure. As well as the drivers, you'll require 14 M3x25 bolts, 14 M3 nuts (the nut traps should accept nylocs) 2x speaker connector posts and wires for the internals (I recommend using crimped connectors). Line all the inside walls with speaker dampening foam (I used 25mm torn in half) but make sure there's a clear path from the back of the driver to the bass port. I recommend the small or medium bass tubes, the others are there for experimentation. (Photo is of one with the recipient's name debossed on the edge)
