Tears Inside Vase

Tears Inside Vase

myminifactory

This is a stunning vase that was brought to life based on a clever suggestion from a skilled potter. The potter was amazed by the incredible capabilities of 3D printing and couldn't wait to see how this beautiful, elegant design would turn out. It was also Joel Tellings' birthday, known as "The 3D Printing Nerd", and I wanted to make it extra special for him. I've been told he's not typically a fan of printing vases, but maybe this one will change his mind. This vase has a smooth, flowing design that gently sweeps upward at an angle no greater than 45 degrees, making it perfect for printing without supports or using the vase/spiral mode. It can also be printed solid if you prefer. The vase itself turned out wonderfully on my CR-10 3D printer, using Taulman T-Glase filament. Printing settings: Bed temperature at 70C, nozzle temperatures ranging from 250 to 245 degrees Celsius, and a layer height of 1500 microns.
