Teapots

MAKE YOUR OWN TEAPOT I'm not a fan of teabags, so I'd like you to get a ceramic 3D printer and create your own teapot. This way, you can make a great cup of tea using loose-leaf tea. Here are some teapot designs for you to choose from. Clay extrusion 3D printers have a continuous path to print, making these designs that combine the body, spout, handle, and lid into one print ideal. They're modeled so that there won't be too many or any non-print path movements in your sliced G-code. Some designs feature clay infill between the handle and body and body and spout, which will be cut away when the clay is leather-hard – stiff but not dry. I print these teapots with a 1.6 mm nozzle, layer height of 0.6 mm (sliced), and double walls/two shells on my WASP delta printer. I'm very interested to see what results other people get using different setups. The model files are scalable, so you can make a one-cup to six-cup teapot. The default download scale is for a three- to four-cup teapot. If everything goes well, the lid will print in one piece and need to be trimmed off and fitted once the clay is stiff enough to handle. I've included separate lid files in case the end of the print goes wrong or you need to replace a broken teapot lid. Just remember to scale the lid if you scaled the main print.
With this file you will be able to print Teapots with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Teapots.
