Teapot lid knob with M4 thread

Teapot lid knob with M4 thread

thingiverse

A simple teapot lid knob with an M4 thread. I am using this for an eccoe teapot (link below) - which are very good teapots except the knob is rather fragile and breaks easily. Note: PLA can deform with temperatures above 60°C. So with fresh boiling water in the pot, the PLA is not really stable any more and might deform if pulled strongly. I suggest to use a more temperature stable material or look at the specifications of your material. Having said that - I am currently using black PLA from sunlu and I just pay attention not to pull too heavily when boiling water is inside.
