Teapot Cookie Cutter / Sandwich Cutter with sharper edges
thingiverse
The three-year-old girl across the street was throwing a birthday party for herself, and she wanted everything to be fit for a princess - a Princess Teapot Party. My wife pulled out Casement's nice cookie cutter and started making some cookies, deciding that some sandwiches would also be a great addition to the celebration. However, she wanted the edges of the cutters to be sharper so they could easily slice through the sandwich. I had never attempted a project like this before, but I decided to give it a try using Tinkercad. First, I converted the original design into an SVG file and then imported it into Inkscape for some modifications. After that, I ran the updated design back through Tinkercad to create the STL file. To be honest, I'm not the most skilled when it comes to projects like this, so any constructive criticism would be greatly appreciated. It's a bit difficult to see in the photo, but the original design had 1.75mm thick walls on a 100mm wide cutter, whereas the remix has 1mm walls on an 110mm wide cutter. My wife says that using firmer bread makes it easier to cut through with this tool. She made both PB&J and Ham/Chess sandwiches after cutting cookies with it.
