"The Teamspace desk is designed to promote collaboration and productivity by creating a comfortable, inviting workspace. Featuring a large hardwood work surface, it encourages warm, tactile hours at the desk. An integrated light sensor and LED Sympathy backlights adjust to low-light environments, inspired by NEC's Human Sensor and AmbiBright™ technologies for a harmonious design solution. The Leap Motion controller allows intuitive gestural manipulation during team sessions. It can also be used to 'throw' screens around, making full use of NEC's PiP and PbP capabilities. The desk's motorized leg mechanism enables custom gestural controls to raise and lower the desk between sitting and standing height. Multiconnect technology allows instant hardwire connection between grouped Teamspace desks for sharing resources and providing a lightning-fast local connection for the PA series monitor's syncing capabilities. Monitors are hooked directly into the desk's control module via the monitor's upstream USB ports. Sturdy cast aluminum casters allow effortless mobility, creating an ever-changing adaptive workspace where desks can be grouped and re-grouped based on individual project needs. The core idea for Teamspace is to discourage long, lonely periods of work and encourage movement, interaction, and teamwork. The Perch Stool, powered by Cubli technology, promotes ergonomics through constant balancing motion, alleviating common muscular strains caused by bad posture and slouching.
