Team Rocket's Ventilator
grabcad
Project Description:To fully grasp our CAD model, it's essential to note that the bag cannot be made to deflate and inflate within Solidworks. When the lever arm is positioned inside the bag, the bag actually becomes deflated and expels air. The shorter end of the cam rotates around, creating space for the right-hand side of the lever arm to move downward as the bag is refilled with air. Next, the long side of the cam rotates around, pushing the left-hand side of the lever arm down to deflate the bag. Manufacturing:• A DC motor will be acquired from a different source.• The oxygen ventilator bottle will also be sourced from elsewhere.• The rest of the parts will be manufactured through 3D printing.Material Selection: • A high-torque DC motor with 10 Ncm torque, capable of handling strong loads at both low and high RPM, will be used. The Uxcell 12V 208RPM model is suitable for this purpose, priced around $16.• The AMBU Bag, also valued at $16, will be utilized for its durability and functionality.• Priline Polycarbonate filament, known for its above-average structural integrity and excellent dimensional stability, will be used for 3D printing. This high-quality material costs approximately $50.
