This replacement gear cover is designed for Team Losi JRX-based vehicles, including the JRX-2, JRX-Pro, JRX-Pro SE, LXT, Junior 2, and Junior T models. It will work seamlessly with both original LRM transmissions and retrofit transmissions. The design combines elements from aftermarket covers with the original cover, providing a unique solution for users. To accommodate various screw lengths, additional material has been added around the screw area to ensure compatibility with 4-40 screws. The plug is a flexible component based on aftermarket covers, ideal for printing in flexible filament. However, if you prefer a more rigid element or plug, you'll need to source one separately or resize the hole accordingly. UPDATE: Following part confirmation through printing and clearance checks on sliders, this gear cover has been validated as functional. Although it may become tight during full shock compression, it should operate smoothly nonetheless. UPDATE 07/01/20: A revised version (V2) of the gear cover has been introduced to provide more clearance for the spur gear. This updated design is expected to clear an 86T gear or even a higher ratio, potentially up to 88T. While this may pose some challenges due to increased wall thickness in the affected area, overall cover thickness remains unchanged. Users with hydra-drive units should still find sufficient clearance, although further testing is recommended. In response to user feedback, the mounting flange on the post has been thickened, and I plan to remove the original V1 version once this updated part is printed. Additionally, a non-slipper version may be added in the future.
