Team Fortress sentry - Glueless
thingiverse
More than a year ago I printed this [tf2 sentry](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:44148) and while it is really cool, having to glue everything was pretty tedious. Over time it also has completely fallen apart. After a lot of procrastination I've finally finished my custom sentry that can be fully assembled without having to glue anything! I've just gone off of a couple pictures and the model that I printed so it isn't super accurate but the iconic look is definitely there. ## Printing: Print one of everything except for the bolt, you'll need 2 of those. For every piece it should be pretty obvious how it can be printed, some pieces need a little bit of support material. The gun can be printed pointed up, so that the hollow part can be covered using bridging. Only the slit in the nozzle needs a tiny bit of support. ## Assembling For me everything fit together without any sanding though most fits were very tight. - Slide back leg left & right onto the center piece and add the body left & right around it. Connect the little puzzle like piece so everything stays together - Carefully add front leg left & right to the body, the joints will kind of snap together. - Add the wires to the barrel, this is probably the hardest thing to do since I expected the spring to be more flexible. Once that's done slide the gun front over the barrel, add the frame and secure everything using the bolts (this also took some force) - Lastly push the spinny connector onto the frame and place the gun on the bottom half you built earlier.
