TEAM ASSOCIATED SHOCK BUSHINGS

TEAM ASSOCIATED SHOCK BUSHINGS

These are direct replacements for the FT aluminum shock bushings on AE Vehicles, available in both long and short versions. Please note that these custom parts can never match the ruggedness and durability of original aluminum or nylon components. However, I have found that even when printed with PLA, they hold up quite well. If you're using these bushings, consider leaving a comment about how they perform in different materials like ABS or PETG. This feedback will help improve their design and functionality. For my RC10 Worlds Car project, I wanted to incorporate "color coordination" by installing these custom bushings. After printing, carefully use a 4/40 or M3 drill tap to cut the threads through the bushing. Be cautious not to damage the part during this process. Please be aware that the fit of these bushings may vary depending on the level of wear in the shock cap eyelet and your printer settings. You might need to sand them down or adjust the size in your slicer settings to achieve a snug fit. For optimal results, print at 100% infill and use a brim skirt to ensure a strong bond between the part and the surrounding material.
