Team Associated RC10T Parts I was just a 12-year-old newspaper delivery kid back in 1992, but I had big dreams of racing RC cars alongside the pros. Bryan Kinwald's RC's were my idol, and I would often gaze at his machines with envy. That year, I set my sights on saving up enough money to buy the ultimate RC car: the RC10T. It wasn't an easy feat for a kid my age, but I was determined to make it happen. I worked hard and saved around $750 to purchase my first hobby-grade RC car. Fast forward to the present day, and I've recently acquired an old RC10T that needed some serious TLC to get it running again. During the restoration process, I decided to share my files with fellow RC10T enthusiasts who might be out there. My goal wasn't to return the car to its original stock state but rather to create a club racer that I could break out every now and then when I'm feeling nostalgic. Here are some of the parts I've worked on so far: * Bumper * Transmission * Shock Tower Brace * Shorty Lipo Tray And here's what's currently in progress: * Front A-Arms: These have been modified to improve their durability and performance. The new design uses the same mounting positions as the stock arms but with deeper hinge holes and an additional 2mm hole for added security. * Bulkhead R/F: This part has been redesigned to provide better support and stability to the car. * Transmission Case: I've worked on modifying the transmission case to improve its efficiency and reliability. * Shock Plate: This component has been updated to enhance the car's overall handling and responsiveness. Rear A-Arms: The rear arms are a custom design that builds upon the stock parts. They use the same mounting positions as the original arms but with some key improvements. The hinge holes have been made deeper, and an additional 2mm hole has been added on one end to secure the pin in place using a 2x6mm Cap Screw – a feature commonly found in modern buggies. Battery Tray Parts: * Battery Mounting O-ring for Sakura D3: This is a high-quality o-ring designed specifically for the Sakura D3 battery. It's available from 3RACING under part number SAKD132, and it costs around $2.50. * 4 x 3x12mm Machine Screws: These screws are essential for securing the battery tray in place. They're made of high-quality materials and are designed to withstand the rigors of RC racing.
