TEAM ASSOCIATED RC10 SERVOPOST+BATTERY HOLDER
thingiverse
This is a versatile battery holder/servo post combination. I've based my design on period-correct servo measurements like the Futaba FP S-148. Modern servos will likely fit, but you may need to trim a small section from the side facing the servo to ensure a snug fit. The battery holder accommodates batteries with a maximum width of 44 mm and also works seamlessly with standard battery braces. A small square plate is included for adding an extra screw, which can be secured by aligning it with the servo/battery first and then marking the hole with a permanent marker if there's enough space underneath. This post was specifically designed to align the servo with the original front post, taking into account the gold pan's ledge where the nosepiece and main pan connect. Your feedback is greatly appreciated – please let me know if there are any improvements I can make. For optimal results, print at 100% infill.
