Team 7501 Off Season H-Drive

This is a model of team 7501's off-season H-drive drivetrain. Constructed from 1" by 2" aluminum tubing, this robot utilizes versaplanetary gearboxes for its drivetrain. Inventor files are stored in the .zip folder. To maintain a low profile, we opted to use versaplanetary gearboxes. We weighed our options and decided against manufacturing custom gearboxes, deeming the extra effort unnecessary. To synchronize the wheels on each side, we added a 225-tooth HDT belt between the front and rear wheels, though this step can be omitted if desired.
