Starting with the MK2 Module by Swerve Drive Specialties (Team 2910), Team 7103 - Robo Remedy introduces our custom modifications to accommodate through-bore hex encoders and motor spacers. We intend to utilize these innovations for the 2020 FRC season Infinite Recharge, pending their viability for the challenge. Underneath the NEOs, we've designed and 3D printed motor spacers that were developed prior to SDS announcing an official option. These custom spacers enable us to mount our motors without modifying the shaft. We plan to utilize Falcon 500 motors for driving purposes and potentially also for turning once they become available to us. The only modification made from the original model is in the motor spacers, where we opted for longer hardware instead of threaded inserts as depicted in the original design.
