The teacher's desk "Luna" has a height that is adjustable. It fixes in five positions: 820, 760, 700, 640, and 580 millimeters. The shape of the tabletop has as its base a circle with a diameter of 1200 millimeters. The side of the tabletop lying at the basis of the circle is not straight but rather has a curved radius of the circle facing convexity to one side toward the center of the circle and having two points of intersection with the primary circle. Radii of curvature are equal to the radius of the main circle, which is 600 millimeters. The tabletop forms the shape of a half-moon from above. The base of the desk represents a metal welded construction consisting of four legs with flanges for securing the tabletop on one side and rotating wheel supports on the other. The legs are connected between themselves by a prong made in the form of a four-pointed star (a particular case of an angle prong with two longitudinal elements), located at a distance from the lower surface of the tabletop. This scheme, in combination with the secured tabletop, is intended to provide sufficient rigidity of the structure. The prong represents a welded construction from four elements. Elements of the prong are made of steel electric weld flat oval tube 15 x 30 mm. with a wall thickness of 1.5 mm. which is bent specially to ensure the geometry of the arrangement of legs of the base of the desk. Each tube of the prong has a figure cutout at the ends of rays for smooth and secure coupling to circular pipe leg diameter 40 mm and secured by electric welding.
