Teach a child to tell the time
grabcad
The teaching clock is an intriguing project that functions as a dual-level teaching aid. Firstly, it helps young children learn to tell time using a clock instead of a phone. Secondly, it features a unique mechanism creating a 12:1 hour-to-minute hand ratio. The Ferguson paradox explanation can be found on my woodenclocks website. Constructed without supports, this project only needs adjustments for optimal shaft fitting. Teachers or children can hold the clock using its back handle to set or answer time-related questions. This is my second 3D printer project, utilizing a Zortrax M200; however, I am still getting accustomed to it and unsure about advising others on settings for this project. My first project involved building a 3D printed skeleton clock after years of woodworking, which can be viewed on the 3dprinterclocks website.
