I wanted to craft a stairway-style quad tealight holder that went beyond just four boxes with varying heights and a modest 10% infill setting. However, I realized that approach would have been overly wasteful in terms of filament usage and ultimately, rather dull. The outcome is an arrangement where the support structure takes center stage and becomes an integral part of the design. For me, it presents a visually appealing appearance ;-) ...and when lit by the candles alone, the transparent filament creates captivating light effects. Printing this model proved to be a success without needing any supports or adjustments for retraction (just a minor tweak). Cura estimated that I'd need 67g of filament for this project, covering approximately 8.5 meters, although it did take around six hours to complete.
