Tea leaves collector
thingiverse
I drink a lot of loose tea during the day, so I made this canister-thingie to store my spent leaves prior to chucking them in the compost heap. The canister can be printed as-is as just a regular tube with a bottom. However, I intended (and printed) it with zero top/bottom layers and 25% rectilinear infill through PrusaSlicer. This resulted in a mesh/sieve-like bottom. The idea is for the leaves to drip their excess moisture through the bottom and into the base, which snaps onto the bottom. If I'd been smart, I would've poked holes along the sides to aid in air flow so the leaves dry out quicker. Perhaps for a future modification. Dimensions are 150mm x 100mm for the canister. The base can be shrunk along the Z axis to speed printing.
