Tea Lamp Light (The 3V Battery type NOT FOR FLAME CANDLES)
thingiverse
A Two Piece Holder for Battery Operated Tea Lights I designed a two-piece holder for battery-operated tea lights, which I found to be incredibly useful. In my version, I placed two lights in the bottom section, but with one crucial difference - the blue light has been disassembled and replaced with a bright blue LED, giving it an electric glow. The top light remains unchanged, retaining its original flickering effect. You can customize this design as you see fit, mixing and matching different colors to create your unique look. A single tea light should be sufficient for most applications, depending on the material and print settings used. Next, I plan to add two distinct colored LEDs to the lower light, taking it to a whole new level of visual appeal. The outer casing of my lights measures approximately 39mm in diameter and fits snugly into the top section. The bottom section has been stripped bare, eliminating any housing that might hinder the light's ability to dissipate effectively within the cavity. When assembling the two sections together, they fit quite tightly on my prints, but I'm confident that more accurate printers will find it a breeze to snap them together. The pegs at the bottom are designed to be 5.0mm in diameter, while the top holes measure 5.2mm, ensuring a secure and snug connection. To achieve the best possible results, I recommend printing the bottom section with glow-in-the-dark ABS and the top section with red ABS. To maximize light transmission, try to minimize infill as much as possible without compromising structural integrity. Print Settings: Rafts: None Supports: None Resolution: 0.3mm Infill: As little as possible Notes: Simply orientate the design to avoid any supports and you're good to go!
