Tea Cup Holder

Tea Cup Holder

thingiverse

So when you take a tea from vending machines, especially here in Italy, you get a plastic cup almost filled with scorching hot water. This is a holder where these cups fit perfectly and you can enjoy your tea without burning your hands, feeling like holding a tea cup thanks to the handle! I use it every day at my office - it's amazing! This design is an adaptation of a model available on Shapeways, so if you prefer not to print it yourself, you can buy one instead. The model has been optimized for printing techniques, resulting in a significantly different final product. Note that the cups may not fit perfectly - you'll need to try them out and let me know your experience in the comments section! Please also check out my Espresso cup holder design, which is just as useful. If you print and use this object, please share an action shot in the made section - it's always great to see how they turn out! Print Settings Printer: New Matter MOD-t Rafts: Yes Supports: Doesn't Matter Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 25% Notes: I sliced the model using Cura and set "brim" as a platform adhesion type, with a shell thickness of 1.2. According to theory, this model should print without supports, but my printer had trouble bridging on top at first - it might have been a problem with my printer rather than the design. The model shown in the picture was printed with support at a 40° overhang and 20% fill amount, just to be safe.
