Tea Bag TongsA reverse engineering of a TEA BAG TONGS, using "Surface Modeling" and converting the model to a solid model, by outward thickening of 0.5 mm./!\ Attention /!\An updated version is available as a new STEP file (.stp) and as a STL file (.stl)The update is an improved model with new dimensions, like the thickness of material (0.80 mm), the width (19 mm) and an opening angle of 16 degrees.It is the more stable execution, without a tendency to a permanent deformation.The previous model is shared as a STEP file only.For the animation I used a little trick, shown in the screen shot of the assembled model (two components and a segment of a rotation cylinder).I know, it does not correspond to a realistic bending.
