Tea Bag Jiggler
thingiverse
Sometimes a little more motion is necessary!\r\n\r\nI created my first tea bag jiggler in 1997 after returning to a freshly poured cup of tea only to find the water still clear five minutes later. The original was built from timber and Meccano components.\r\n\r\nThis device requires a 9V battery. I discovered a suitable motor with a small swing arm that the T can connect to on eBay by searching for terms like "DC motor swing arm".\r\n\r\nI've uploaded two base versions. One has holes for the motor and switch I use, while the other is blank so you can drill it yourself to fit whatever pieces you find.\r\n\r\nThis design should allow printing without supports. PLA works well but ABS would be beneficial due to its better thermal properties.\r\n\r\nThanks and enjoy your tea!
