Update: November 5, 2018 I've just rolled out the latest version of my source code - Version 1.1 - which packs a few crucial bug fixes that you'll want to get your hands on right away. Download the updated files and experience the improvements firsthand. Meet the Tea Apparatus 2000, the culmination of months of tireless work: my very own creation from scratch. This robot is designed with precision in mind, effortlessly moving its arm laden with a teabag into the waiting teapot. Every two minutes, it will meticulously remove and reinsert the teabag - a feat that showcases its unwavering dedication to perfecting the art of tea-making. In 2017, I first experimented with similar robotic designs, but this latest iteration takes the cake: it's specifically engineered to seamlessly interact with various types of teapots, including the popular Ikea Riklig model. Underpinning this marvel is an Arduino Uno paired with a Stepper Motor and A4988 Stepper Motor Driver. For added precision in moving the teabag, I opted for linear guides ball screw spindles - a technology typically found in 3D Printers and CNC Mills. Got questions or need help bringing this robot to life? Don't hesitate to send me a message or leave a comment below. You'll find the comprehensive building instructions and bill of materials conveniently included within the download files. I encourage you to take the Tea Apparatus 2000 for a spin - optimize it, build it, and share your experiences here!
