TDC for TM Mk23 Socom
thingiverse
This product is designed for the most experienced users who require assembly by tapping their own thread with a metric M4 tap. Assembly involves using a grub screw for adjustment and pressure on the Nub. If this is not possible, commercial TDC mods for the MK23 may be more suitable. The design remains somewhat experimental as it's being tested in multiple TM MK23 pistols with various barrel configurations to achieve optimal results. Initial testing has been conducted on a stock MK23 Socom without any modifications, using stock TM bucking and nub, with the original adjuster set to off. The results were impressive, surpassing the original design that fails to provide sufficient downward movement on the hop. I've also successfully used this product with an R-Hoped Maple Leaf Barrel, achieving great results due to the finer adjustment typically associated with R-Hop systems. The design is available on Shapeways for those without access to a 3D printer. Any donations will help expand my tools and further my airsoft technology journey. Special thanks to Dabluebunny and allegfede for their contributions; they make it all worthwhile! Be sure to check out their designs as well. Print Settings: Printer: Anet A8 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.1 Notes: To achieve the cleanest top surface, print like a bridge with support material. You may need to sand the inside edges for a smooth fit and drill out mounting holes for a perfect fit. Post-Printing: Cleaning: Lightly sand off any seams and remaining support material from the inside to ensure a smooth fit. Tapping: The design allows for an M3 tap in the top hole for an adjustment screw, ideal when using a Maple Leaf key. Otherwise, drill out to 3.3mm and use an M4 tap, applying pressure to the entire original hop arm assembly. Install: Remove slide. Remove barrel. Set Hop Completely off or disassemble and remove adjustment wheel. Unclip The original cover. Clip On TDC. Reassemble. Shoot Stuff.
