I liked the look of the original but when I went to print it I noticed there was nothing holding the face of the clock to the main body of it. I guess it was meant to be glued. I didn't like that option so I designed a ring to go on the back of the clock face that would hold it in place. You could easily push the face out from the back and replace the battery and slide it back in. The clock mechanism fits nicely inside the ring. You may need to drill the hole a little larger depending on the mechanism. For the one pictured I had to drill it out from the 1/4 inch hole to a 5/16 inch. I won't be attaching the hands to the clock since this is meant as a gift and I do not wish to damage the hands before I send this or while it is in transit. I did not take a picture with the hands on the clock. This was a gift to my cousin who just had a baby and the room was set up with wildlife items. So I sent her the print with an extra clock mechanism and a set of 4 small hands the were included with the mechanisms.
