TCG Deck Box with a Print in Place Hinge for Easy Assembly. The box is designed to hold 100+ sleeved cards and accommodates Magic the Gathering cards perfectly. Some key features of the box include: - Space for 100+ sleeved cards - Internal hinge guards that prevent cards from getting damaged by the hinges - Flaps on the cover to keep cards in place when the deckbox is closed and held upside down There are numerous deckboxes available on Thingiverse, but I wanted to create a version that fully utilizes the capabilities of 3D printing. This design incorporates a hinge that is assembled during printing, resulting in a more efficient process. The 3D hinge design was adapted from an instructable by gzumwalt, which can be found at https://www.instructables.com/id/Parametric-Print-in-Place-Hinge/. For printing instructions, please refer to the print section. To assemble the deckbox, you will need two additional items: - Super glue - Magnetic tape or velcro tape (example of magnetic tape is shown in images) Assembly Instructions: After supergluing the front (Deckbox w printable hinge front.stl) to the body (Deckbox w printable hinge body.stl), apply magnetic tape as demonstrated in the photos. A 2.5 mm thick space exists between the cover of the body and the front, accommodating two layers of magnetic tape, assuming each layer is approximately 1 mm thick. Once the glue has dried, your deckbox is ready for use.
